A COURSE ON PROFESSIONAL MOLD REMEDIATION

Each TDI CE course gives you (agent/adjuster) 3 hours of CE credit toward the renewal of your license every other year. 

Course Instructor:  Dave Reimer--over 15 years in the Cleaning and Restoration industry.  In-house and Certified IICRC instructor for  the last 10 years.  

Course Topics:

 Introduction                                                                                10 minutes

     • Review of the course and goals for the class

 History of mold and what caused such national attention        10 minutes
     • In the early part of this century

S-520 Standard and Guideline for Water Restoration                10 minutes
and other national standards

Texas mold remediation licensing                                               10 minutes

Safety:
Proper PPE, respirators, AFD’s/air scrubbers                            20 minutes

         
Third Party Evaluation—why?                                                     15 minutes
     •  Pre-evaluation, sampling and recommendations
     • Establish protocol

Mold formation— time, water activity, MVOC’s, mycotoxins,    15 minutes
