A COURSE ON PROFESSIONAL WATER RESTORATION ____________________________________________________________Each TDI CE course gives you (agent/adjuster) 3 hours of CE credit toward the renewal of your license every other year. Introduction 15 minutes • Welcome • Review of the course and goals for the class
S-500 Standard and Guideline for Water Restoration 10 minutes
Safety: Proper PPE, respirators, OSHA, immunizations 20 minutes • Water loss categories and chemical usage • Discovering mold and what to do
Types of damages: primary, secondary, pre-existing 15 minutes
Drying Methods: aggressive and disruptive 10 minutes
Extraction Equipment: light and deep extractions 20 minutes • Truck mounted units, flood pumpers, portables
BREAK
Airmovers: 20 minutes • Types of airmovers and their usage • Formula to determine proper number of airmovers
Dehumidification: 30 minutes • Refrigerant, Desiccant, Heat Exchange • Formula to determine proper amount of dehumidification
Monitoring the water restoration job 30 minutes • Meters and their usage • First day drying goal • Monitoring a job
Course Evaluation and closing 10 Minutes
Total: 3 Hours All courses are presented with Power Point Actual equipment will be in the classroom (when available)
